Citadot: Support

Need help, found a bug, or have an idea? Email me at [email protected]. I read every message and usually reply within a few days. My reply may come from an Apple iCloud address, so if you do not see it, look in your spam folder.

To help me fix a bug, please tell me: your iPhone model, your iOS version (Settings > General > About), what you were doing, and what happened instead of what you expected. A screenshot helps.

Saving

Is my city saved automatically?
Yes. The game saves every few days of game time, and whenever you leave the game or switch to another app. You do not need to press a save button.
How many cities can I keep?
One. Starting a new city replaces the saved one, and the game asks you to confirm first.
I lost my city. What happened?
The usual reasons are: you started a new city (it replaces the old one), your city fell on Medium or Hard (that city is gone when the game ends), or the game was deleted without a backup. If none of these fits, please email me.
Can I move my city to a new iPhone?
There is no cloud save. If you set up your new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one, the saved city normally comes with it. I cannot promise this, because it depends on your backup settings.

Difficulty

What are Chill, Medium and Hard?
You pick one when you start a new city.
What are the dangers?
On Medium and Hard, cartoon-style fires, storms and floods, blackouts and disease can strike. Services such as fire stations and hospitals help, and so does spare power. Chill has none of them.
Can I change the difficulty later?
Not in a running city. To try another difficulty, start a new city.

Maps

How many maps are there?
Six: Classic, a spring blossom town, a desert town, Neon City, Snowy Town and Mars. Each has 8 areas to discover, its own animals, special buildings and music.
Do I have to unlock or buy maps?
No. You pick any map when you start a new city. There are no in-app purchases.

Settings

How do I change day and night, sound or music?
Open Settings in the game. There you can turn sound and music on or off, choose "day and night", "always day" or "always night", and turn the little icons above buildings on or off.

The basics

Does the game need internet?
No. It works fully offline.
Does it have ads or in-app purchases?
No. You pay once when you buy it.
What data does it collect?
None. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase.
